Our approach

Helping ideas become assets, and assets become legacy.

Intellectual property should not be approached as an isolated filing exercise. It should be part of a broader strategy for growth, protection, positioning, and long-term value.

Your brand is not just a filing. It is part of what you are building.

Built on combined experience in intellectual property, international coordination, and legal-sector support.

Why timing matters

In first-to-file countries, a trademark goes to whoever files first.

Trademarks are generally secured through registration, and each country sets its own rules. In first-to-file countries, China among them, the rights generally belong to the first to file, even if someone else used the name before. Whatever the system, the safest course is the same: file early in every market where you plan to launch, manufacture, or sell. Recovering a name that someone else registered first is slow, costly, and uncertain.

Questions we hear first.

What is LUMORA IP?

LUMORA IP provides strategic intellectual property consulting and international coordination support. Where local filings or reserved professional acts are required, we coordinate with authorized professionals in the relevant jurisdiction.

What does the quote include?

The official fees of each office and our fee, itemized by country and class, so you can compare before you decide. Asking for a quote doesn’t commit you to anything.

How long does a registration take?

It depends on each office and on whether anyone opposes the application. Your quote outlines the stages for each country, and we keep you informed by email as each application moves.

Can a company from outside China register a trademark there?

Yes. Applicants from outside mainland China file through a Chinese trademark agency, and we coordinate that for you.

Which languages do you work in?

We can communicate in English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. For clarity, official terms, quotes, and key procedural communications may be confirmed in English.

Tell us about your brand and where you sell.

We’ll reply by email with an itemized quote. Nothing is filed without your go-ahead.
